Lynne Standish joined Clark Meadows and Ferris Hills in January 2015.  Lynne is the first point of contact for families considering Clark Meadows, explaining our enriched living community’s services and the admissions process. Previously working 20 years as an advertising consultant with the Genesee Valley Penny Saver, she brings a wealth of knowledge about local residents and businesses in the area, having lived here for more than 30 years.

Lynne has volunteered with Thompson Health for the last four years in the hospital gift shop, and is on the Publicity Committee for the Thompson Health Guild’s Springtime in Canandaigua fundraiser each April.  She is a past president of the Canandaigua Business & Professional Women’s Club and a past ATHENA nominee.

A native of Rochester, Lynne received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Rochester Institute of Technology.   She is excited to bring her sales, marketing and human service experience to this new role.   “Having started my career in the human services field, I feel like I have come full circle!  Finding the right fit - either independent or enriched living - for the prospective resident is very rewarding!”

Michelle Kennison’s nearly 20 years of experience in senior living settings began when, as a young mom, she applied for a part-time receptionist job at a senior community in Monroe County and instead was hired there as a care aide.

Her subsequent work with older adults – in a variety of capacities – led her to pursue her nursing degree, later becoming a nursing supervisor and ultimately an executive director of an assisted living community.

Michelle joined Clark Meadows in July of 2013 and says the staff is “one of the most inviting groups of people I’ve ever worked with.”

“My role here is to make sure everyone’s taken care of,” she says, noting that she maintains an open-door policy so residents, families and staff members can come to her at any time with concerns or suggestions.

Michelle, who lives in Farmington, is a married mother of three

Jodi Wilbur
Lifestyle Coordinator
Clark Meadows

Jody.wilbur@thompsonhealth.com

A native of Clifton Springs, Jody Wilbur served as a teaching assistant for 17 years with the Phelps-Clifton Springs School District. There, she worked with special education students and also served as the director of the Youth-to-Youth drug-free program, a complement to her many years of teaching religion at St. Francis Church in Phelps.

In 2000, Jody became an administrative assistant for Vienna Gardens independent living community in Phelps. In that role, she assisted the activities director, ultimately deciding she would like to get out from behind the desk and spend even more time with residents, enhancing their lives by providing enjoyable and meaningful activities, events and outings.

That is what brought Jody in March 2013 to Clark Meadows, where she enjoys the friendly, warm environment, the helpful staff and the residents, whom she describes as “amazing.”
Jody, who lives in Phelps, is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren.
